Hoeve Altena is responsible for the processing of personal data as shown in this privacy statement. Personal data that we process:
We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have provided it to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we can process:
- First and last name;
- address data;
- day of arrival and departure;
- phone number;
- e-mail address;
- Bank account number;
- other personal data that you actively provide when you visit our website and in any correspondence;
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process:
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process your personal data:
We process your personal data on the basis of the agreement as a basis for the following purposes:
- Registering and processing your booking;
- Administrative handling of your booking;
- Correspondence and answering questions regarding your booking (if necessary).
We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest as a basis for the following purposes:
- Conducting internal administration.
- Placing cookies (Google Analytics and Google Maps).
How long we keep personal data:
Hoeve Altena does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We keep data that we are legally obliged to record for internal administration for a minimum of 7 years. We store other data for 2 years.
Sharing personal data with third parties:
Hoeve Altena shares your personal data in the following situations:
- This is necessary for the execution of the agreement;
- We are legally obliged to do so;
- in the context of a legal dispute, we may share your personal data with a lawyer or legal adviser;
- if requested by the Dutch Data Protection Authority;
- this is necessary to protect ourselves or our users against fraudulent, abusive, inappropriate or unlawful use of the website and contact options.
View, modify or delete data:
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data and you have the right to data portability.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

Hoeve Altena will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks. How we secure personal data:
Hoeve Altena takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact info@hoeve-altena.nl
Automated Decision Making:
Fully automatic decisions are decisions made by computers and not (anymore) by people. Hoeve Altena does not use fully automated decision-making on our website.
