Terms and conditions of Hoeve Altena.
We wish you a warm welcome at Hoeve Altena in Woudrichem and request that you familiarize yourself with these general terms and conditions.

Main guest:
The person who has reserved at Hoeve Altena through a contact form, booking organization, e-mail or telephone contact.
The main guest is 18 years or older and is responsible for her or his fellow guests and must have a permanent place of residence or residence.
Third parties:
Any other legal entity that is not a guest, administrator or owner.
Manager
Person who owns or manages Hoeve Altena on behalf of.
Cancellation:
Revocation or dissolution of the definitive reservation within the applicable period.
Stay:
The entire period between check-in and check-out.
1) The website www.hoeve-altena.nl has been compiled with great care and love, but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the current situation at Hoeve Altena at the time of the visit by our guests. No rights can be derived from such differences by the guests.
2) Hoeve Altena consists of 3 guest houses. The “Guesthouse” is intended for a maximum of 2 persons, for which a baby cot can be reserved. The “Apartment” is also intended for a maximum of 2 persons. The “Cottage” is intended for a maximum of 4 people. Here too, 1 baby cot can be reserved.
3) On the day of arrival, you can check in from 15:00. On the day of departure, you must check out before 11:00 am. Deviating times in consultation.
4) Breakfast can be booked extra in the Guesthouse and the Apartment at the latest the day before.
5) Private areas may not be entered.
6) Between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, the evening and night's sleep is respected for the surrounding homes.
7) Smoking is not allowed in the guest rooms.
8) It is not allowed to gourmet, fondue or stone grill in the guest rooms. When cooking at home, odor nuisance should be avoided as much as possible.
9) Drug use is not accepted, and we will terminate your stay immediately.
10) Excessive alcohol consumption will not be accepted, and we will terminate your stay immediately.
Prices:
1) The room prices are incl. tourist tax and 9% VAT and excl. breakfast.
2) You must take out cancellation and/or travel insurance yourself.
3) All statements on our website are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments.
4) Hoeve Altena is not bound by obvious errors on its website.
Reservation and payment:
1) Reservations can be made via our booking program, by e-mail, by telephone, via the contact form or as a passer-by.
2) Once we have received your reservation request, we aim to contact you within 24 hours and confirm the reservation if space is available.
3) Payment must be made no later than on departure, by cash, debit card or credit card
4) In case of cancellation within 2 days before the arrival date, the first night will be charged to you.
Liability:
1) Hoeve Altena cannot be held liable by its guests and any third parties as a result of their stay in our guesthouses and any damage suffered.
2) Hoeve Altena is not liable for malfunctions in and around the guest accommodation, such as failure of the WiFi or power and/or water facilities and/or technical installations.
3) Hoeve Altena accepts no liability for loss, damage and/or theft of personal property or accidents during or as a result of the stay in the guest rooms.
4) There must be care and orderly conduct in and around the guesthouse with its goods and accommodation.
5) The guest accommodations and surrounding grounds and parking spaces must be left neat and clean.
6) Breakage or damage must be reported to the owner.
7) If it turns out afterwards, after check-out, that goods have disappeared and/or are damaged and this has not been reported to the owner, the repair and/or replacement costs will be charged to the main guest.
Finally:
1) Insofar as not stipulated otherwise in rules of private international law, these terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Non-Dutch speaking guests are deemed to agree with the general terms and conditions.
2) All disputes arising from the user agreement, or these terms and conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in the Netherlands, insofar as the rules of international private law do not stipulate otherwise.
3) None of the parties can transfer its rights and obligations to third parties, insofar as in the present conditions do not stipulate otherwise.
4) If and insofar as any provision in the user agreement and the present terms and conditions should prove to be invalid, the remaining terms and conditions will remain in effect and the invalid article will be deemed to have been converted in such a way that it is brought into line with the apparent intentions of the parties.
